Blood Cancer UK

The UK’s leading blood cancer charity. Since they were founded in 1960, Blood Cancer UK has spent £500 million on blood cancer research to improve treatment and care for people living with all types of blood cancer – including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma – and provide anyone affected with advocacy, information and support. There are more than 5,500 people currently on Blood Cancer UK funded clinical trials and last year they sent out over 45,000 blood cancer information booklets, which are also available as PDFs on their website which is packed full of useful information.

Blood Cancer UK partners with other UK Charities in the Blood Cancer Alliance: ACLT, Anthony Nolan, CLL Support, CML Support Group, DKMS, Leukaemia Care, Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI, Leukaemia UK, Lymphoma Action, MDS UK Patient Support Group, Myeloma UK, Race Against Blood Cancer and WMUK.

  • Dr. Adrian Warnock is a medical doctor and clinical research expert who was himself diagnosed with blood cancer in May 2017. Adrian worked in the pharmaceutical industry for fifteen years helping to run the clinical trials that bring us new medicines and communicate the results. Before this he practised in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), as a psychiatrist, for eight years.
