Information for our Providers to prove why Blood Cancer Patients with compromised immunity need Monoclonal Antibodies (United States patients)

This information was current as of its publication date.

On Blood Cancer Uncensored Saturday, January 1, 2022 weekly meeting, we discussed the frustration with our providers and respective states in listening to our need some of us have for Monoclonal Antibodies (MA) as a preventative treatment for the Coronavirus. We discussed politely and kindly giving out the information that strongly suggests the Monoclonal Antibodies save lives from Covid 19. We believe MAs are necessary as a pre-Covid infection medical plan for the immunocompromised, in addition to having the recommended third dose of vaccinations. I have prepared this resource for you to share with your physicians. Right now this is mainly for folks in the United States but we know the use of drugs like Evusheld will be expanding to our sister countries and we will want you to be successful there in getting the assistance you need. Please copy the link and use your on-line medical communication tool (e.g., “My Chart”) to send this to all of your doctors.

FIRST UP: Recent ASH presentations summarizing that Blood Cancer patients, with specific mention of CLLers, do not respond well to Covid 19 vaccinations.
