Mike Gibson is a chronic lymphocytic leukaemia patient who blogs about the physical, emotional and mental experience of having CLL, particularly in the early treatment phases. Mike believes the mental and emotional impact on such patients is often overlooked and actively works to help people in this position.

Career-wise, Mike spent a 35-year career as a business change and transformation professional who specialised in helping government (both local and national) across the world achieve sustainable change.

At the latest count, Mike had helped public sector organisations around the world save in excess of £5Bn. He has also worked with a series of impressive blue chip companies.

Mike has been married to Karon for more than 20 years and is an enthusiastic golfer (when the fatigue and pain allow!).
