Lymphoma Clinical Update

ASCO had 853 Lymphoma abstracts! We do have a link to all of them but here you will find some key highlights. This page also contains entry level, intermediate and advanced videos and information about Lymphoma which is a form of blood cancer that grows in lymph nodes. This is one of the three major types of Blood Cancer – the other two being leukemia and Myeloma.

One condition, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) is both a leukaemia and a lymphoma and is covered on its own page. Both lymphoma and leukaemia most commonly arises from the B Lymphocytes so it is perhaps not surprising there is some overlap between these types of blood cancer.

Read more about Lymphoma in other articles on this site.

On this page we will be building a list of videos and helpful documents that you may want to work through if you would like an update on what is new in the world of medical information and treatments for lymphoma.

To be honest, if you are in watch and wait, or remission and treatment feels a long way off for you then you might not want to bother reading everything on this list. We will try and guide you as to which videos and documents are easier to follow and which assume more knowledge. You can dip in and out, and even come back later.

The USA medical conference ASCO is usually the home to lots of interesting clinical updates about lymphoma. This year is no different although the meeting took place virtually at the end of May. Near the end of this article are highlights from ASCO2020 abstracts and a link to those about lymphoma, followed by a list of links about specific blood cancers, and some videos of patients stories from Blood Cancer UK and this site.
