USA blood cancer patients – Monoclonal antibodies now available if you have you been exposed to COVID19 or are you at high risk of exposure. When will the UK catch up?

Regular readers will be aware that we have been speaking passive immunity for COVID19 for over a year since the USA approved Regeneron’s cocktail for high risk patients with COVID19, particularly if you have no ability to make you own antibodies.

Our friends over at CLL Society report that the FDA have now extended this to include those who have been exposed or are at high risk of exposure even before they get sick. This is crucial information for all our USA readers. When will the UK catch up? British readers may want to let their members of parliament know about this and ask them to questions why we STILL do not have any access to this.

More information is available on the company website.

If you are in the USA and have recently been exposed to COVID19 or are at high risk of being exposed contact the national helpline. Their website have yet to be adjusted for the new information.
