When the Doctor Becomes the Patient – A Blood Cancer Journey

Some people find it is a bit strange when a doctor is the one who is sick. In this 30 min talk I explain what it was like for me, and share a few lessons learnt. Its not a technical talk and there is no medical jargon in it at all. I was asked to give a short webinar talk to a group of doctors from the International Christian Medical and Dental Association.

I speak about the surprise of finding out that you are sick – after all young people, doctors, and Christians like me don’t get sick do they? I speak about the importance of compassion, honesty and hope. A couple of my non medical friends have watched this and said it was interesting to them to. So I share it here in case this is helpful for you too.
