Hawaiian Chicken

I saw this recipe for Hawaiian Chicken on Facebook and decided to check it out! I hope you enjoy it if you try it. The vegetables are my favorite superfood kale sauteed in a low sodium chicken flavored bullion and coconut oil. I cooked the potatoes in the same pan to absorb same flavor and added a little salt. Delicious!
SWEET HAWAIIAN CROCKPOT CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
2 lb. (.9kg) chicken tenderloin chunks (I used boneless thighs, not chunked)
1 cup pineapple juice (I changed this by dumping in the can of chunked pineapple, juice and all)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all together in crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours…that’s it all done!
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 6-8 hours
Serves 5-6 people
Here is an actual picture of this dish. In the original picture, it appeared that they had tossed the chicken in brown sugar. I would not want that much sugar, but it is an option. It was very sweet tasting and just like being in Hawaii. I think!

I love pineapple so the cooked pineapple in the chicken makes the dish a new favorite for me!
