Celebrating BCAM and World CLL Day September 1st
This is a day when groups of CLL patients raise awareness of the need to recognise the effect of this chronic condition affects lives. Not just of patients but also those who care for us.
Read more here about World CLL Day and share with your family and friends.
There are many support groups for CLL patients across the world. But Blood Cancer Uncensored gives that support across the world and has members from UK, US, Canada , Germany, South Africa, Holland, Ireland, France and a myriad of places so if I have missed you out please forgive me. What we do is support each other with a free forum to share concerns and information as well as give Hope when life gets tough.
We celebrate successes and recognise those difficult times when things aren’t going so well. There are articles and blogs from members and other institutions on www.bloodcanceruncensored.com in addition to Facebook members only group and weekly Zoom chat.
The Covid pandemic is an example of a worldwide approach to support hurting, frightened people and why the support group forum is essential and relevant. For example, CLL sufferers have been very badly affected by the need to keep safe because of our compromised immune systems and our lack of antibodies to fight the virus. This has made isolation a way of life and with it comes depression anxiety and frustration. It’s ok to feel that way.
But you are not alone!
We are in the same boat. The differences of culture and nationality has actually brought us together. So the benefits of Blood Cancer Uncensored has given us all the space to connect wherever we are in the world. To join in the convert check out the website or Facebook page. All are made very welcome. And maybe when this pandemic we can meet up in person!
But for now, COME ZOOM WITH US!!!
